About Me…

My name is Laura Corcoran, a Bettendorf Bulldog (1999), a graduate from Trinity International University (2003) with a Music Education Degree (piano and vocal emphasis), and a graduate from Appalachian State University, with Masters of Music Education, where I worked as a graduate assistant in the vocal music department, and taught private piano in their Community Music School.  I have been a teacher in the music classroom, both full-time and part-time, for over 20 years.  I have taught general music, beginning band, choir, private voice lessons, and have accompanied for school programs a solo events.  I have also been teaching private piano lessons in my home (not currently taking students).  I am excited to be at John F. Kennedy Catholic school, where I hope to cultivate a culture of love for music, without inhibitions, and discover talent and potential among the students!
