Iowa Opus Honor Choir Auditions

Congratulations to the following students who auditioned through a state-wide, recorded session for the Iowa Opus Honor Choir:  Charlie A, Mary V, Genevieve M, Molly F, and Maggie A.  We are so proud of their hard work!

Volunteers Still Needed to Set Up the Stage

We are putting up the stage in the parish center in two phases this year for Crusader Theater.  The base will be set up on October 24th at 6:00 p.m. and should take about 1 – 1 1/2 hours.  About 6-8 people are needed for setting up the base.  On October 29th at 9:00 a.m., the walls will be assembled.  About 4-6 people are needed for about an hour.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/teacher conferences are November 3 and 7.  Preschool – 5th grade conferences are scheduled.  Families with multiple children at JFK in grades PS-5 should have received a link via email on Thursday from their children’s teachers to have first choice of times so that they can schedule their children’s conferences in close proximity to each other.  Those students who do not have siblings should receive the link on Monday.  Families who do not schedule their own conferences will have them scheduled by staff and will be notified of the times.

Conferences for students in grades 6-8 and for specials’ teachers are “drop in” in the cafeteria.
