K-8th Grade Religious Education and K-12 Faith Formation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We are happy to partner with all of our parish families!\u00a0 Together, we are all part of the parish’s children\u2019s Faith Formation efforts.\u00a0 <\/span>As the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches us, \u201cParents have the first responsibility for the education of their children.\u00a0 They bear witness to this responsibility first by creating a home where tenderness, forgiveness, respect, fidelity, and disinterested service are the rule.\u00a0 The home is well suited for education in the virtues.\u201d (CCC 2223)\u00a0 This describes what we refer to as the domestic church.\u00a0 Our parish staff and volunteer catechists are happy to partner with our parish families to strengthen our young disciples, promote lifelong learning and aid in fostering the desire to know, love and serve Christ Jesus, especially through the Eucharist and all Sacraments.\u00a0 In addition to Religious Education instruction, we also make available multiple opportunities to fulfill Holy Days of Obligation and increasingly more options to pursue action through encounters with the Eucharistic Jesus, personal prayer life and the Works of Mercy.\u00a0 Faith Formation and fellowship opportunities for children of all ages occur all year long.\u00a0 Follow us on <\/span>Facebook<\/span><\/a> or check out the weekly <\/span>bulletins<\/span><\/a> to learn more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hour long Religious Education classes for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade are held on Wednesday nights at 6pm from mid-September through the beginning of May.\u00a0 We utilize JFK school classrooms and have wonderful catechists and classroom aides to support your children in their learning.
