8th Grade Social Studies
8th Grade Math
Eighth grade has been working on their Probability and Statistic Unit. Students have been comparing bi-variant data, creating scatter plots, analyzing trends, and finding the best fit line. Students have also been creating two way tables and looking at frequency of an event.
7th Grade Math
Seventh grade just completed their Geometry Unit. They will begin looking at Probability and Statistics over the next two weeks. Students will look at the probability of an event occurring, compare theoretical and experimental probability, and determine if a game is fair or unfair. Students will also be looking at compound events and simulations.
Reminder: After school tutoring is on Tues. and Thurs. from 3-3:30.

This will be my twelfth year teaching math and social studies here at JFK.
I am a graduate of Lakeland College in Wisconsin. I graduated with a degree in Elementary/Middle School Education with a minor in Science. I hold a middle school and generalist endorsement, and have recently completed course work for my math endorsement. My husband and I have two children. Our daughter Delaney is in second grade. Our son William will be attending JFK Guardian Preschool.
