Wednesday, March 26th, 8th grade band students trip to Circa ’21

Saturday, April 12th, Coe Elementary Honor Bands at 3:00pm

May 15th, Spring Band and Choir Concert at 6:30pm (6pm call time)

When do I need my instrument?

5th grade band meets Tuesday and Thursday

6th grade band meets Wednesday and Friday

7/8th grade band meets Tuesday and Thursday

Students will also participate in weekly individual/small group lessons.

Biography

My name is Michelle Che, a graduate from University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a Music Education Degree (instrumental and general music double licensure with a jazz emphasis). Since earning my Iowa and Wisconsin teaching licensures, I have taught music for 4K – 12th grade students in the public and Catholic school settings. Concert band is where I cultivated my joy and passion for music and one way to give glory back to God.

As a former 3-year All State flutist and musician in various ensembles, I understand the importance of performance opportunities. Honor bands will be offered for interested band members. My plan is to support our students as they grow as disciples of Christ and musicians.
