Kitty Temming – Assistant Principal & Director of Special Programs

Kitty Temming has been teaching in Catholic schools since 1978, starting in first and third grades in Evansville, Indiana. She earned a Masters of Education from Indiana State University in 1981 with an endorsement in Reading Education and Early Childhood Education. After completing the course work for an administrator’s license through Indiana State in 1991, Kitty and her family relocated to Davenport, and she took the position of principal of Lourdes Catholic School in Bettendorf, IA, for four years. She joined the staff at JFK as the T.A.G. teacher in 1997 and enjoyed teaching fifth grade from 1998 – 2014. Kitty is now the assistant principal and director of special programs. Kitty and her husband Paul have two daughters who graduated from JFK, Assumption High School and St. Ambrose University. The Temmings live in Davenport and are members of Our Lady of Victory Parish.
