Future Legacy Club Opportunities:
Life Insurance: Listing the foundation as a beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy allows
you to provide a meaningful gift without depriving your family or depleting your estate.
Bequest in your Will: The gift of a percentage of your estate, a specific amount or item or the rest and
residue of your estate is also a good way to continue your stewardship at your death.
Example bequest language – Please feel free to change the numbers or percentages as you desire.
Bequest of cash
“I bequeath the sum of $10,000 to Our Lady of Victory Foundation, Davenport, IA.
Bequest of a percent of the estate
“I devise and bequeath 20% of the remainder and residue of property owned at my death, whether real or personal, and wherever located to Our Lady of Victory Foundation, Davenport, IA.”
