Norma Kuehn – Eighth Grade, Eighth Grade ELA; Religion; Seventh Grade Social Studies

Hi everyone,

Hopefully, everyone is receiving emails from all teachers. Below is a link for this week’s general information letter. Beginning April 13th, 6-8th grade moved into fourth quarter. All assignments are now required to be completed and submitted to teachers through Google Classroom or other means as indicated. We will be going to a Pass/Incomplete grading system for 4th quarter. Please read the dated links “General Letter for Upper Grade Parents,” each week to stay updated to any changes. I will be posting a chart on Sunday afternoons with my week ahead, and assignments will be posted each evening at 7:00 pm in advance of the next day.

Please know that I am keeping you all in my prayers. Stay safe and we’ll get through this with God’s help.

Blessings,
Mrs. Kuehn

Mrs. Norma Kuehn
This is my first year at JFK, my twentieth teaching middle school kids, and my twenty-third year over all in education. I spent thirteen years at Prince of Peace in Clinton, and three years as a student advisor at Ashford University. My most recent teaching assignment was five years at St. Joseph Catholic School, in Stuart, Florida, where I taught Science and Honors Biology. My husband and I have been married for 28 years, and have raised three daughters-ages 26, 23, and 20. The two older girls graduated from Prince of Peace, having attended from preschool through twelfth grade; the youngest attended through eighth grade and moved with us to Florida, where she finished in public high school.

I am thrilled to be here at JFK, and excited to continue the important mission of Catholic education.
